After careful consultation with local law enforcement and public health authorities, and in recognition of California’s restrictions on large gatherings, the Los Altos Festival of Lights Committee is unable to stage this year’s Festival of Lights Parade.

The current state of COVID-19 in our communities has made it clear that for the safety of our volunteers, participants, and fans, this decision -- although painful -- is the right one based on the information we have today.  We are very disappointed, but want you to know that we remain part of the community and will be back better than ever next year with all the holiday glitter, lights, and music we have been providing for over 40 years.

While we might not be able to host our annual parade downtown, we are exploring new and safe ways we can share this holiday tradition with our community.  Follow us on Facebook or Instagram for more information on the unique way we’ll bring “A Child’s Holiday Fantasy to Life” for 2020.
